The deeded land is in a portion of the Tombstone Hills with scenic views of the valley and surrounding mountain ranges. Access is from Highway 82 or the town of Tombstone. The ranch consists of easy desert terrain with a good mix of grass and browse, and elevations ranging from 4,100' up to 4,900' in the hills.
There are two wells operated by solar power and two water storage tanks with drinkers on the State lease. One well powered by windmill and generator is located at a set of wood, pipe and wire corrals on the BLM permit. The ranch has two dirt tanks, each located in the north and south portions of the allotment, and the deeded land has a concrete water catchment.
