This historic ranch, steeped in artifacts and lore, dates back to the 1870's and is situated in the upper Chihuahuan desert, with rolling to mountainous terrain.  It is a browse and grass ranch with excellent water.  There are +/-663 deeded acres with three BLM grazing leases, two State of NM grazing leases and approximately 12 sections of open range. The ranch is permitted to run 440 head of cattle yearlong with 8 horses and is currently stocked at this rate. 

The Spanish Stirrup is well improved with 13 wells all of which have been recently reworked with new pumps and equipment within the past three years.
